Craig recently joined our team as an ecologist, bringing his skills in flora and fauna survey and monitoring, and biodiversity management from working with the Department of Conservation for 16 years.
After gaining a Master’s degree in ecology from the University of Otago, he worked in monitoring of indigenous vegetation and pest species across much of Aotearoa, and protected species management in the United Kingdom.
Craig is driven to make strategic biodiversity gains through practical means. His experience involves technical work with threatened plant and invertebrate management, dryland revegetation, and community engagement via collaborative conservation programmes with NGOs, iwi groups and local councils.
